\nBhante Sujato is an Australian Buddhist monk in the Thai Forest tradition. He was the Abbot of Santi Forest Monastery in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales for 10 years. Bhante Sujato is a Pali scholar and a highly respected meditation teacher. He brings a rare combination of humour, compassion and deep knowledge to his teachings which show us how to live our busy lives within core Buddhist principles.<\/p>\n

In recent years, Bhante Sujato has committed himself to make the Buddha’s teachings available in their authentic form for all interested people worldwide. In order to do this, he makes use of modern media and has developed the website SuttaCentral<\/a><\/strong>, on which the early Buddhist texts of the Pali Canon can be found, including their Chinese, Tibetan and Sanskrit parallels, as well as many translations into modern languages – and more translations are added regularly!<\/p>\n

From 2015\u20132018, Bhante Sujato has made a new English translation of the entire four Pali Nikayas<\/strong> that can be found on SuttaCentral.<\/p>\n

The Authenticity of The Early Buddhist Texts:<\/strong> Bhante Sujato and Ajahn Brahmali have released this book, in which they have gathered the research done on the topic of the authenticity of the early Buddhist texts. This work presents an overview of all current research in this field for the first time.
