When first encountering Insight Dialogue in the mid \u201990s, the\u00a0practice spoke immediately and strongly to her heart. With this recognition came a deep commitment to participating in the first face-to-face practice group. As the years have gone by, her commitment to the path inspired a return to school, earning an MA in Buddhist Studies.\u00a0She participates in many of the Insight Dialogue Community teams and practice cohorts and coordinates the Insight Dialogue Teaching\u00a0Community Coordinating team. Each of the Kalyanamittas has made this delightful Celebration possible:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>\u00a0May we continue sharing, learning and growing in Dhamma!\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>May more and more dhamma friends join us and benefit from the shared space of our DC Sessions!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6457 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.samita.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/unnamed-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"154\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Here some beautiful contributions from our core Dhamma Contemplation Peers:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><i>\u201c<\/i><\/b><i>Ah&#8230;what to say about the Dhamma Contemplation?<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>I began with no expectations, and very little knowledge or background in the Suttas.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>\u00a0Mondays have become the foundation, the touchstone, of my week.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>\u00a0For me, the Dhamma Contemplation is an exploration,\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>a meditation, an observation of how does the chosen Sutta touch me,\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>here and now\u2014 in this moment, in this body\u2014<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>how does it percolate through this mind, give confidence to this heart.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>Guided by the Sutta, by shared and heartfelt silence and with deep and open listening,\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>we have come to know each other, not through our stories, but in this present moment,\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>and then the next one, and then the next.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>There is profound warmth, and unbounded wisdom, it seems, to be found in each other,\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>and then to be bumped into within ourselves&#8230;and so, (slowly, imperceptibly),\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>the dhamma comes to reside within me&#8230;<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>With deep gratitude for all I am feeling and learning&#8230;\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>Rita<\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cThis Dhamma Contemplation group has been a real blessing.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Not only does it offer an incredibly rich way to get to know and experience the suttas,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u00a0it has also been such a joy to connect with the group every week.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Even though we are spread out over many countries,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u00a0I feel a real sense of community &#8211; a warm, safe and loving one.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u00a0Much much gratitude to all!
