Vesak is a time for great joy and happiness, for helping others and doing meritorious deeds. On this day, we celebrate the Buddha\u2019s birth, awakening and passing away. It is the most auspicious day in the Buddhist calendar and it is celebrated in countries around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Due to Ajahn Brahmali\u2019s visit we unfortunately will not organize any great events this Vesak but you are welcome to come and take the 8 precepts in a small ceremony at around 6.50 am on the iSangha Zoom channel and listen to a short talk by Ven.
