    I agree wholeheartedly with you. It’s painful when women treat each other with envy because they themselves ex are subjugated to monks. I see this in Thailand, as a western women. Nothing in my upbringing prepared me to. Be subjugated by monks,
    . I find the nuns in Taiwan to be mist welcoming. They are empowered confident. Well supported.

    Did Buddha belive or teach disenfranchising and discriminating against nuns, and knowingly isolate them from formal teaching and mentoring. Why has this obvious blemish been left to blister, cause disrobing and remain unresolved for so long without love and sincere compassion!

      No, the Buddha did not teach that, this has come into the traditions only over time.
