Monks / Nuns

Ajahn Brahm—visited Hamburg (an event organised by the BGH) in October 2014 for talks and a small retreat. We hope to organise other events with Ajahn Brahm in the future.

Bhante Sujato—visited us in 2013 and 2015 for a 10-day retreat and several talks in various languages and countries. He is the spiritual advisor for Samita ASBL.

Ajahn Brahmali—visited us in 2017 for a meditation- and sutta-retreat and various talks in Germany and Belgium.

Ayya Yeshe Chodron—visited us in the summer of 2014 for a few weeks of talks and retreats before embarking on a pilgrimage tour to Santiago de Compostela and Assisi.

Ayya Mudita—lives in Bad Pyrmont, Germany, and leads a Dhamma Center there. She visited us in the summer of 2016 for a retreat.

Ayya Vimala—is one of the founding members of Samita ASBL with the goal to one day realise a monastery in Europe.

Ayya KathrinVimalañāṇī—was part of the first Sangha to live in the new monastery Tilorien.

Anagarika Sabbamitta—is one of the founding members of Samita ASBL and met Ayya Vimala in 2011.
