Samita ASBL

iSangha

The Buddha taught us that everything is impermanent, changing, uncertain. The uncertainty of the present situation with the Covid-19 virus brings much suffering, fear, even panic, but also many possibilities to grow in the Dhamma.

Now many countries in Europe have gone into lockdown and others have put stringent regulations into place to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus, we need connection more than ever. We need to put the Buddha’s teachings into force and help each other to deal with the stress and uncertainty, support each other by doing kind deeds for those in our society who are vulnerable and to give mental support to those who need it.

It is in times like these that we can grow most in the Dhamma and practice the 8-fold noble path. When we are stuck at home, we can make the time for meditation, to listen to Dhamma teachings and join together with spiritual friends online.

Therefore, I will be offering the following program:

Our virtual Tilorien Meditation Hall

Our virtual hall is open at all times at https://zoom.us/j/595769367

This is the place where we will hold all meditation sessions and gatherings.

Everybody is welcome to participate or meet others in this hall at times when there are no sesssions.

Please respect that this hall is only used for meditation and dhamma discussions, just as you would in a normal hall.

(Times given below are times in Belgium)

Friday night gathering

A weekly meditation and Dhamma discussion group on Fridays 19.00-20.30 CET.

Ven. Vimala and Ayya Anopama will guide the evening. Other monastics can be invited.
