Ayya it was great and joyfull to meet you somewhere in Spain on our road to Santiago. It gave me joy and understanding to meet you and to talk with you. Blessing to you and be safe. Hope to see you again.

It was a privilege and an honour for our family to spend time walking with you Ayya., your kindness and wisdom touched our lives.

Dan: ’the time we spent with you was one of the highlights of our

memories of the trip. It has been hard to keep up with the spirit of the Camino when back in regular life and reading this reflection helps us to stay connected with that spirit.’ Wilfred (9 years old) “What a great piece of work Ayya keep up the good work and hope to see you soon.”

Luke (14 years): ‘Thank-you so much for writing this piece it has helped to bring the Camino back into the forefront of my mind’.

Your lovely last quote from a fellow pilgrim reminded me of a Bertrand Russell passage that Dan recently came across and seems to resonate with our family experience of the camino: “An individual human existence should be like a river – small at first, narrowly contained within its banks, and rushing past rocks and over waterfalls. Gradually the river grows wider, the banks recede, the waters flow more quietly and in the end, without any visible break, they become merged in the sea and painlessly loose their individual being.’

Much love to you dear Ayya, we hope our paths cross again in the near future.

    Dear Anopama
What a beautiful story of your path! It sure will inspire people to reflect on their own life path. The joy and lightness that shines through if you take the time to walk with awareness of what is, like you did. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing this. It was enjoyable to read and feel into the Camino again. Would love to talk in person with you about our experiences of it and catch up one day at the right time. I certainly relate to bringing some of that into my life…
