New Buddha statue for Tilorien Monastery

On 17th February 2024, a new Buddha Statue was donated to Tilorien Monastery by a kind supporter from Sri Lanka, Kaushal Ranasinghe. The statue was crafted by a well-known artist in Sri Lanka (Kanishka Sithmal) and shipped to Europe. Together with the statue came 5 images of the great disciples of the Budda: Khemā, Uppalavaṇṇā, Mahāmoggallāna, Sāriputta and Soreyya (by Gayan Chanuka Vidanapathirana). May the donor have much merit and joy from this great gift of Dhamma.
